A ceramic piggy bank inspired by the Disney Studios animated Silly Symphonies short "Three Little Pigs" (1933). Featuring Practical Pig in delicate blue and yellow hues, the bank was produced by renowned Californian Ceramist Hagen Renaker. Hagen Renaker was licensed to produce Disney ceramics for only a short time during the late 1950's and according to Walt Disney, they produced "the finest three-dimensional reproductions of (the animated) drawings that he ever saw. Measuring 3.75”x3.25” and 6.5” tall, Practical Pig is in very good condition.
