An original production cel and background setup from the Warner Bros. Studios live-action and animated film, "The Incredible Mr. Limpet" (1964). Featuring a fantastic image of Ladyfish admiring Limpet's glasses, the hand-paintetd cel and background were created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece represents an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the cartoon. This is an extremely rare piece as this scene utilized a held cel of Limpet's head and glasses, so there is only one cel that exists of this from the film. Measuring 10.5"x11.75" overall, with the character image measuring 9.75"x11.75", the setup is in good condition with extensive wear and damage to the white of Limpet's eyes and pin holes in the background.
